Remembering Roberto Cani with Pergolesi's Stabat Mater

Meagan was honored to have the opportunity to join Maestro James Conlon and members of the Los Angeles Opera Orchestra for a memorial concert on October 10th celebrating the life and artistry of Roberto Cani, beloved concertmaster of the LA Opera Orchestra from 2011 to 2025. She appeared as the alto soloist for Pergolesi's Stabat Mater alongside Gabrielle Turgeon, who was the soprano soloist. The program also included Puccini's Crisantemi, Respighi's Ancient Airs and Dances, and touching spoken tributes from Roberto's colleagues.
