German Opera Tales with LA Opera Connects

Meagan enjoyed being back at the Music Center for German Opera Tales with LA Opera Connects this month. She portrayed Hansel, a River Guardian (aka Rhinemaiden), and Blondchen in this fun mash-up of musical highlights from Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel, Wagner’s Das Rheingold, and Mozart’s The Abduction from the Seraglio. She and her castmates had the opportunity to introduce thousands of children to opera through the performances, including at the beloved Saturday Mornings at the Opera in Stern Hall at Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.
