Mother's Day with The Da Camera Society

Meagan joined pianist David Kaplan, flutist Catherine Gregory, and cellist Eric Byers for a Mother's Day recital with The Da Camera Society in May. In the program curated by Kaplan and Gregory, Meagan sang Copland's setting of Emily Dickinson's "Nature, the gentlest mother" in an arrangement for piano, flute, cello, and voice and R. Schumann and Adelbert von Chamisso's Frauenliebe und -leben with Kaplan. Meagan first sang the beloved Schumann cycle on her doctoral recital in 2017 and was thrilled for the opportunity to revisit it.
