On July 8th Meagan joined guitarist Mak Grgić for a recital at the historic Maverick Concert Hall in New York as part of the Maverick Festival, the oldest continuous summer chamber music festival in America. The program, entitled "Tales of the Hispanic World," featured Grgić in solo sets by Albéniz, Tárrega, Ginastera, Walton, and Tadic, and then Meagan joined him for the final set of Manuel De Falla's Siete Canciones Populares Españolas. In the Boston Musical Intelligencer's review of the recital, Mak and Meagan were praised for "refreshing these old favorites with elegance, wit, and spirit."
